I really liked the story, it captivated me like Monica Murphy usually does, I read it and finished it in less than 15 hours.
The story is good, it has a plot but not much, it focuses more on the characters although I must say that despite the fact that I loved the book I feel that it was missing things and that is why my score is 3.5

- It lacked conflict, the story is quite linear without potholes, surely that was the author's intention, which is perfect, but I personally was a little disappointed.
There is one scene in particular that I thought was an indication of a conflict, but it wasn't, and this is repeated quite a bit throughout the book: indications of conflict that will not turn into anything, for example: the scene in the cabin, when the protagonists return Shopping, she went to take a shower and he stayed waiting for her in the living room, his father calls him and after hanging up he gets furious/frustrated and drinks vodka (quite a lot, I could say). I thought this was going to lead to him possibly ranting at her or speaking badly to her unintentionally. and that this leads to a discussion (non-violent) but a discussion in the end and generates conflict, this did not happen and the detail that he drank vodka is unnecessary since it leads to absolutely NOTHING
