Ooooooh, I was so hopeful for this book. The premise sounded so awesome and it just seemed like a book I could so get into. I wish I had paid more attention to the romance sub-genre though. I loved the story and the idea behind it but the romance stuff just kept creeping in at the wrong times, The book would go on for a whole chapter about two characters trying to make each other jealous by flirting with people and then would dedicate just a few pages to a huge paranormal battle. I just felt like a lot of the paranormal story aspect was sacrificed for the addition / focus on romance. In the end this was not the right book for me and I will not continue on with the series. But if you are into romance and would like something with a paranormal twist then maybe you would like this book.
