Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor

3.5

I have mixed feelings for this one.

It's like it was both medium-paced and slow-paced at the same time. Most of the book felt like an intro as most first novels of a series do but this one wasn't boring in the slightest. It didn't have any intense scenes. It was a calming read. The irony,
considering it is a book about war.
Nothing made me too interested nor disinterested.

I liked the ending.
I hope Brimstone is alive. I hope the wolf dude... I don't know, get humiliated, maybe.
