The first half of this absolutely dragged, and I was really nervous because I had this so hyped up in my head. At that point it really felt like it would be a 3 star read. The second half moved a lot quicker and it took me about 200 pages before I was invested. The end was a nice little twist and I’m looking forward to continuing the series to see where this goes.
