I really enjoyed this book! The pace finally stepped up, I was glad to see more happening and to finally get some real tension in the story. The angst was really great and had me completely hooked in.

I loved the way the romantic relationships progressed and I'm still really enjoying getting to see from a variety of characters' perspectives.

I did feel like Cricket forgave Cas a little too easily. I don't mind that she did, but I wish he'd had to work for it a bit rather than her deciding to forgive him on her own before they'd even seen each other again.

The sex scenes where a little rushed and underwhelming after so much build up, but that's probably just personal preference for how I like spicy scenes to be written. Another minor thing, but Cricket's brothers commenting on her anal virginity, and openly in front of a group of people, was so cringy. There is some really great banter and funny moments in this series, but that one missed the mark.

Rylan is a great character and I can't wait to see more from him.  I'm really excited to see what the rest of the series has in store, especially surrounding Cricket's circle and how that's going to develop.
