Lucky in Love by Jill Shalvis

2.0

I have found lately with Jill Shalvis books that the secondary characters, in this case, the usual crew from Lucky Harbor, annoy me. They've moved from the realm of sweet, but well-meaning and nosy neighbours, to truly atrocious people who think they know what's best for everyone and won't shut up about it. They actively stick, not just their noses, but their entire unwelcome heads into situations that truly have zero things to do with them. And it wildly annoys me and then I get frustrated with the plot and the characters.

I liked Ty and Mallory- but would have liked them a whole lot more in a different town.

I think I'll be taking a Shalvis break for the foreseeable future.
