I started reading this not knowing it would be a series (yes I see the Arlington hall #1, but sometimes that just means a book in the same universe). So this book ending on a cliff hanger made me joyous. Mainly because I love when the occasional books doesn’t have an HEA. Things I loved about this book, I LOVED that the fmc didn’t automatically fall at the MC’s feet. I love when they fight back because when they just agree on everything even when the MC’s a jerk I’m bored. So that was interesting. The “plot twist” was interesting and reminded me of the After series. But ya know adults.
