Sadly, I really wanted to like this book and it sounded so intriguing but.... I just couldn't..... The first chapter blew through so many details and fast forwarded through so much and *BAM* they were in love (I'm sorry, what?!, how did I miss all the character and relationship building?! oh wait there was none), then the wings are chopped off - for what?? because of the "love" they had?? - nope, no connections to the characters whatsoever, then the back and forth timelines and POV for the first 3 chapters... I couldn't... even with 3 narrators, I was lost as to what the heck was going on with sooo many names, places and memories. My second ever DNF and I'm stubborn and hate doing it.
