Reckoning by Lili St. Crow

4.0

The beginning of this book was beyond slow. I almost stopped reading it all together. Not much happens there's a lot of fighting amongst friends and Dru is whiny, and poor-me-poor-me through most of it. About half way through the action starts and then never stops and it gets so good you just can't put it down. One thing happens and like 2 pages later something completely different but just as shocking happens. The last 100 pages Dru finally gets a backbone and man oh man is that bad news for the vamps. She decides enough is enough and leaves carnage and destruction in her wake. You also find out more about both her and Graves' pasts and families. You learn more about who and what her grandmother was, which was something that side clocked me. I was so net expecting that. The ending was great and the characters grew and changed right before your eyes. You could relate to all of them and couldn't help but love them even the bitch Anna. Sergej is just so creepy he makes the perfect bad guy and I'm going to have nightmares about him for days after this. Great ending to a great series. I hope Lili St. Crow comes out with another good one.
