Moonraker by Ian Fleming
4.0

If only Moonraker the film had come close to the book, it would have been one of the best of the Bond films. Damn you, Christopher Wood.

This was an amazing Bond novel. It had all the usual improbable bells and whistles, but it also had character development and a tightness that kept the story ripping along to the nailbiting climax. This is one of the best Bond novels. Maybe one of the top three.
