Bait and Witch
by Angela M. Sanders
Bait and Witch was a fun, quick read and I needed something like this after the last book I read. It’s full of quirky characters, magical realism, a clever cat and an enviable victorian home turned library. It was a perfect, bite sized treat.
This book was kind of all over the place as far as the writing, pacing, flow of the story goes. I did like the MC of Josie and let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to be a librarian with book magic? The setting is also beautifully described and makes me wasn’t to visit Oregon. I was a little frustrated with how the magic was being restrained in this story, hopefully the rest of this series the magical system is on full display.
Overall, I love these kinds of cozy mysteries and will read the next book when it comes out this summer!
