I read this for my 2025 genre challenge. Read “A nonfiction book by or about a sports personality”. Having seen the movie I thought I’d try the book, this is the second time this month I have to say I liked the movie better 🥲
I love Sandra Bullock, that’s probably why I liked the movie. I know absolutely nothing about football. I didn’t recognize 99% of the people they talked about. I didn’t even understand the positions they were discussing, let alone the rules that were changing at the time. I enjoyed the parts of the book that seemed similar to the movie, other parts weren’t interesting to me though.
