I have to say that this is the strongest book in the series so far. A super compelling plot that continues to raise the stakes, a formidable villain, two really well-written main characters with full arcs and great chemistry, one of whom is autistic (!), and generally great diversity throughout. I’m not even a fan of spice, especially not kink, but I still enjoyed the emotion and respect in the spicy scenes. I can’t wait to see what happens in the rest of the series!
