I Loved this book! Beware, this is book 1 and there is a cliffhanger.

Synopsis:

Rune is an unassuming rich socialite who spends her nights as the Crimson Moth, who is a witch that rescues her kind from being captured and killed.

An important rescue that she promised to her late grandmother goes wrong, out of desperation she decides to attempt courting the handsome Gideon Sharpe - a dangerous and unforgiving witch hunter loyal to the revolution - who is also her best friends older brother.  Her plan to bewitch him with her charm and beauty backfires when she also falls for him.

Gideon loathes everything Rune represents with her social status, parties and seemingly lacks of any substance other than throwing around her wealth.  When he learns the Crimson Moth has been using Rune's merchant ships to smuggle renegade witches out of the republic, he uses her new interest and advances by pretending to court her to get more information about this witch that has evaded his capture for years.

He  quickly sees that beneath her beauty, ditzy mask, and elite background, she is brilliant, kind, and selfless. Someone who actually would be his perfect match. There are two concerns in falling for Rune.
Is she the clever witch he’s been hunting, and will pursuing her break his little brothers heart?
