JUST ANOTHER LOVE SONG by @kerrywinfrey is the book for you!

There’s nothing better than reading on the beach! Unless there’s a cozy fireplace, blankets galore, and hot chocolate or apple cider. Then MAYBE that better….can you tell how much I want fall weather to arrive?

But there is actually nothing better than rom com beach reading specifically. My beach read this year? Just another love song by Kerry Winfrey. While I didn’t get super emotional like I have with her other books, there were still moments that moved me, I related to, and made me laugh.

Compared to Winfrey’s other books, I felt like the romance took the spotlight as opposed to balancing with family/friend plot points. Not a bad thing, because I loved the romance, but the friendship didn’t feel as fleshed out or impactful as other books’.

This is apparently the year of book boyfriends for me. I’ve mentioned that I don’t really have any, but this year there’s been Pike from Wild is the Witch, and now there’s Hank. And I don’t even like country music, but if a man will serenade me, I wouldn’t care if he was singing the Macarena. Or country music, in this case.
