Simon and Vicky have been married for almost ten years.  Their life isn't thrilling, but they have a comfortable home in Chicago that brings them happiness.  Except both Simon and Vicky are liars, and nothing is at it seems.  When a woman is found hanging in her home, it appears as though Simon is to blame.  Whip smart detective Jane begins to chip away at the fortress of lies and deception surrounding the woman's death, determined to get to the bottom of who is to blame.

I am a huge fan of unreliable narrators, but Look Closer takes that to the next level.  You truly can't trust a single word anyone says, which I appreciated, though it got a little confusing at the end, when everything is unraveled. If you're NOT a fan of an unreliable narrator, you'll likely hate this novel 😂.  LOTS of twists and turns, revenge, lies, seduction, and secrets earn this a solid 4☆ rating from me.
