Except for Palestine: The Limits of Progressive Politics
by Mitchell Plitnick, Marc Lamont Hill
There's a lot of good information and analysis in this book but it is ultimately limited to a neoliberal framework. The entire conclusion section can be skipped in my opinion. Hill is making an argument that lack of liberal support for Palestine (in both attitude and policy) demonstrates hypocrisy but I think this is really optimistic about liberal ideology-- assuming that this is an oversight resulting from ignorance rather than largely intentional and malicious in nature. Perhaps I am just a pessimist!
