My ideal middle of a series romantasy book - we’re going on adventures, meeting new people and learning about new places, the romance is at an all time high, there is political intrigue and INFORMATION, more questions than answers but there are answers!! Also, the communication between not just couples but also friends / family is actually well done?? This is one of only a few fantasy / romantasy books where I haven’t wanted to throw my kindle and the wall and yell “just talk to each other”! I’m actually shocked at the respect, understanding, and communication and it really is making this series enjoyable.
The fact that Nadir let slip Lor is his mate and she was like “you knew??” and he goes “you also knew??” but they DIDN’T FIGHT?! I was genuinely shocked.
Thank you Nisha!!!!!

I really enjoyed this ride and so far it was my favorite of the series, but also…

don’t talk to me about the ending.

If you are reading this book you NEED to have the next available immediately. You’re welcome for that warning.

But still, five stars, loved it, even with the emotional devastation.
