I loved this! I was hooked from the start and invested in the fake fiancée scheme, the one night romance and the chaotic family dynamics. It was all so good and laced with so much self discovery and trauma healing that it had me in all the feelings.
I love a fake dating trope so I was on board when that came up but to have the sibling of the fake fiancé be Ellie’s soulmate/one night stand was too much. I was all in watching it all unfold. The chemistry was off the charts and those love scenes were 🥵
I loved the blended family bits with the two grandmas, the Korean culture rep and all the lgbtq+ reps throughout. It all felt so natural and not added in as checking boxes to make a book diverse (if that makes sense).
It was awesome and I still haven’t read charm offensive (I might be the last one) but I really can’t wait to pick it up now that I loved this one so much.
