Revolutionary Road
by Richard Yates
A deep and critical look at suburban Connecticut in the 1950's, but heck, it might as well be today even. A portrait of a marriage, filled with lost dreams, lies, and blinded by family life and that suburban dream. Never saying what they actually want to say to each other, the book is full of "what ifs". Are we ever being true to ourselves?
