This was surprisingly good for such a short story.
I liked that Zeus never backed down or changed who he was and neither did Dargon and Alpha. The secondary characters were rather insignificant and could have been given a bit more space. There were a lot - and I mean a lot! - of different alien species. At first I tried to keep them apart, but soon realized there was no need. The story is almost solely focused on the couple and
The ending is a HFN, which I often have a bit of a problem with. Even though I would have wanted a more fleshed out ending I really feel that it left the couple in a good spot and I’m happy about that
I will probably continue the series because I want to know what happened to the “real” son.
