This book had just about all of the my favorite things: nonbinary and other queer representation, cooking and amazing descriptions of food, adorable side characters (we stan Barbs), a perfect balance of emotion and humor, and impeccably written romance and chemistry. To the start, I loved London so much. I loved their journey throughout the story as they learned to be more comfortable being publicly nonbinary, and the way they talked about their gender. Now, for the food. It was everything! I love to cook and I love to eat, so I loved reading about both the cooking process and the decedent descriptions of the final results. Lastly, for the main romance, which was one of the best romances I have ever read and London and Dahlia are definitely now one of my all time favorite couples. They had amazing chemistry and the development of their relationship was perfectly paced. There was clear consent and a good balance of physical versus emotional intimacy. Overall, I truly cannot recommend this book enough!
