Explaining Humans: What Science Can Teach Us about Life, Love and Relationships by Camilla Pang

informative reflective medium-paced

3.0

In Explaining Humans, Dr Camilla Pang talks us through some neat concepts from the world of science, maths, and computing, and how she uses these (as someone with autism and ADHD) to puzzle out the world around her. It's less "how humans work" and more "these are frameworks that can help you understand them." If you're looking for the former, this probably isn't the book for you. Otherwise, it's both an interesting insight into the author's neurodivergence, and a plain-English introduction to game theory, neural networks, thermodynamics and such.
