I never would have guessed that this was a debut novel from Allie - it is so incredibly well written and paced. The characters are very likable, and the drama was enough to be compelling without making me feel overwhelmed. This is the type of book that makes me self conscious about ever becoming an author - how could I compare to this? Genuinely, getting to see these characters actually get to know each other was very refreshing, and made it more realistic. My only complaint is that I wished we saw more of a glimpse into their happy ending. (If there is such thing)*
