I needed something easy, cute and uplifting to read—I teared up at least twice tho, and Emily Henry seemed to be the go-to choice. Which I ended up finishing in one sitting.
The two MCs were so easy to love. Besides being good at writing romance, E.H also does very well with friendships (as evident in her other books). I loved reading every moment between Daphne, Ashleigh and Julia. The fluff and angst were perfectly balanced. The father-daughter relationship personally hit too close to home. This might be my favourite E.H book so far because of how much I can relate to the FMC.
