The Secret History of Home Economics: How Trailblazing Women Harnessed the Power of Home and Changed the Way We Live by Danielle Dreilinger

3.0

I wanted to love this book. I did find it full of fascinating facts and fabulous women, and therefore well worth reading. The suggestions for the field at the end were insightful. Unfortunately, the book is also very dense, covering a significant amount of time and space and a large number of individuals, of whom I found it somewhat difficult to keep track.
