Oooft. I never ever give psychological thrillers 5 stars but that was incredible.
The writing was amazing - it took a while to get used to but it properly felt like I was in Blythe’s head. I don’t know how I felt reading this but I couldn’t stop reading. Generational trauma and it was just so… real? I don’t know how to describe it. A lot of the feelings in this were so viscerally described I ended up feeling them a bit myself? I haven’t felt like that with a book since Penpal by Dathan Auerbach!
Very good - very much recommend!
