The Great Bear by David A. Robertson

4.0

This was definitely way better than the first one. Perhaps it was the familiarity with the characters, but it was easier to ease into this story. The story itself was much more complex, I enjoyed reading the parallels between earth and Aski, especially when it came to Eli's experiences with bullying. Even the
Spoilertime traveling aspect
was tied up really well with Mason and the pisiskowak from
Spoilerboth times
. Overall, the stories in both worlds wrapped up really well. I just wish this book didn't end on a cliffhanger, but that's mainly because I don't want to continue with the series. I'm pretty sure kids who are really invested in these books would love that cliffhanger.
