Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult

This book had me audibly saying “wow” as I read the last 2 pages. And I actually had read ahead to learn the ending of the book as I was still reading so that I could pay close attention to foreshadowing (I know that’s just WILD of me) but even knowing how the book ended, it was still so intriguing to go on the journey as it unfolded. The development of the characters was very well thought out and I enjoyed learning so much about the Amish community through this read. Although fictional, apparently the way the community is was very accurately portrayed. Great read. The first third to maybe half of the book started out slower in my opinion but I think it’s also because I was balancing this read with my school work and so I wasn’t able to give it my full attention. The first chapter reveals so much that you wonder what the remaining pages will hold. Would recommend
