I loved the way that Ford loved Gina from the beginning. That he loved her for her person, including what she looked like. Understanding this while reading only made every self-deprecating thought Gina had about herself annoying. I rolled my eyes everything, confused why she couldn’t see that his feelings for her were true. Like I get the classic, jerk pretends to be into her only to laugh in her face with their entire school bit. But Ford never did anything like that at all. In the end, this book is 3.5 stars for me because of Ford.
