Hollow City
by Ransom Riggs
I liked it but it was definitely not as good as the first. Some of the narrative appeared to be there just to fit a picture and several of the pictures didn't match the narrative. They were in the English countryside and the picture of the dilapidated house was distinctly American. There are no wooden houses in England, the place was pretty much deforested by the 1500s I believe. Post and beam they have but not clapboard and shutters. Correct me if I'm wrong. It was worth the read and quite compelling but the story might have flowed better without the interjection of some of the background images that served to distract rather than add.
