The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan

5.0

The following review is by my son and padawan Liam:

I think The Titan's Curse is the best book in the Percy Jackson series so far. I give it five stars. It introduces a new monster, a Manticore named Dr. Thorn, who shoots spikes out of his tail, has two different colored eyes, his face is human when he's in manticore form, and has a French accent.

Rick Riordan also introduces a lot of new characters. Nico and Bianca di Angelo are two kids who go to a school called Westover Hall. There are the Hunters led by Artemis who have more bow accuracy than the Apollo kids. Two girls die in the book. There's also Atlas, the Titan who bears the weight of the sky, and a group who leads a quest and fights on a mountain. People who enjoy action will love this book more than the first two books in the series.
