This book surprised me. In a good way.
I didn’t expect to like Keris and Zarrah as much as I did.
In a lot of ways it’s much better than the first two. World building and politics is more in depth, characters felt more flushed out. I think the author really listened to feedback of her first two and improved on her writing because I find this book in some areas much more enjoyable than the first two.
I still love Lara and Aren more though
