This book was so much fun! I really loved the dynamic between Rowan and Sloane, they just fit so perfectly together! Usually when a book is marketed as romance but little to no romance happens until the second half of the book, I hate it, but this just flowed so perfectly that it didn’t matter to me at all!
Usually I read books where the MMC is the killer - or books like the Mindf*ck series where the FMC is the killer - so this twist of both of them being killers was such a fun change! And I mean they’re killing serial killers so they’re good right?
The idea of them meeting up once a year for their competition, the banter between them, the hot and cold/will they or won’t they until they finally do, THE ACCENT (seriously so listen to the audiobook.. Joe Arden with an Irish accent is godly), it all just culminated into such a perfect and fun and wonderful read!
Definitely check the trigger warnings - it for sure gets a bit gnarly if you aren’t used to dark books - but I highly highly suggest giving this a read!
