The Grand Hotel by Scott Kenemore
3.0

This book should bill itself less as a novel and more as a collection of short stories. Because that's what it really is. Going in thinking there's actual plot with an arc will disappoint you
The stories are eerie but often feel like they're going to get creepier or more twisted than they actually do, making them kinda a let down. The best one was the astronaut one which did actually go there.
This gets a three simply for the audiobook version, the narrator is really good with different voices and accents and makes each storyteller unique. Idk if I would have finished it if I was just reading it tbh
