I had already bought the whole trilogy after finishing the first book, but after finishing the second, I was hesitant to finish the entire trilogy. Book 2 devastated me, but...book 3 sort of made me feel whole again.
After so many deaths in the last book, I didn't know how the author could make up for so much in the final book, but he did so, and the ending was surprisingly well played and well written. Exceptional trilogy, Stephen Lawhead!!!
Although I do hear this trilogy was among his best, I shall definitely make my way to reading more of his works eventually!
