I hoped that this book will be better than book one and in the beginning, I was enjoying all the London settings but then Xavier's character changed so much and I started hating him. Forget about being a good partner, he wasn't being a good father to Sophia either. Frankie's sister and that guy Adam (no matter how much I didn't like him, he was spitting facts) were right for saying that he should've done something to ward off the tabloids and his "family" because they were so damn cruel. Also the OW drama got on my last nerves and Xavier was so clueless about it that it made me want to hurl something at his head. I just wanted Frankie to stand up for herself so bad but I understood why didn't she leave sooner because somewhere Xavier was kinda emotionally manipulating her. She told him how she felt about being alone and judged quiet a few times but then he spun the conversation around and made it sound like he was going through a lot of distress. He belittled her problems and neglected both her and Sophia and that infuriated me. I just want him to grovel in the next book because honestly, Sophia & Frankie deserve so much better than his high and mighty ass.
