I can't give it anything less than five stars even though I'm sitting here getting chills and freaking out a little. what a work of art. what a bitch. it gives me the notion that I'm getting way more out of the story than the author intended, or maybe that is exactly what the author intended. so gloomy and cruel and wistful and just. good God. what a book.
