Overall I was sucked into the story in a way that I wasn't expecting. Quite unsettling, especially given how murky the motives of most characters were. It wasn't pleasant being in the main narrator's head but I felt that really pushed the story forward to keep me engaged. It put me in a mindset that constantly had me thinking "now how the hell is this going to go"
A very back and forth struggle where the last quarter had me worried for the safety of many of the characters, kudos to the author for building up that tension.
