This is such an amazing twist on “Little Women”. This is a cute tale about sisters and finding who you are.

Meg:
The oldest, I identified with Meg a bit (being the oldest sibling). At first you think Meg is just a simply lovey-dove character, but that really changed throughout the book when you start to understand what Meg would do for her sisters.

Jo:
Jo is such an interesting character, she doesn’t take anyone’s bs and is willing to do anything for Beth. I really identified with Jo’s self discovery of her sexuality. Jo is such an in-depth and interesting character, I could have an entire book about her and not get bored.

Beth:
Beth is like the baby of the group, even though she isn’t the youngest. Everyone is ready to kill for Beth, and she is just perfectly portrayed in this novel. Sadly she didn’t have much dialogue, which was disappointing.

Amy:
I didn’t care for Amy, she was brash and annoying. She also took away from the overall theme of this book. Not much to say

Overall:
This novel has great themes of racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights/identification, feminism, and family. I really loved this, a great adaptation to “Little Women”.
