I've never read about an alien character so likeable and as an entire book it was surprisingly easy to read, considering the fact that it is way smarter than me. 95% of the science I don't understand; I stopped trying to after a while.
Still not on par with The Martian, in my opinion, but a really entertaining sci-fi read that is almost entirely believable.
