This story was stunningly written, and I loved the way it talked about change and transition and stories. I do wish, however, some of the world-building had been explained a bit better. I know this book is part of an existinf verse of stories, but considering that no set reading order exists for them, I don't know whether the parts of the world I'm confused about are explained in other Birdverse stories. Regardless, this was pleasant to listen to on audiobook and I'm glad I read it.
