I loved the concept and characters of this novel. Unfortunately, the story didn't hit the mark with me. I felt there should have been more. Don't get me wrong, I liked the story well enough.
Maybe I was anticipating West's story too much.
The ending just seemed cut short. Everything was wrapped up but I would have loved there to be an epilogue or something so it didn't end so abruptly.
I do recommend the book and series. The stories are lovely and the characters are wonderful and memorable.
