This book really read like the 3rd part of a trilogy instead of just the 3rd book in a larger series. Even though I knew better, I half expected Jace's epic rebirth to be the climax of the series. That being said, I did enjoy the long-awaited "omg we're not siblings" revelation (bout damn time!), and the demise of Valentine!
I'm excited to see where Cassandra Clare takes the series, hopefully it doesn't get overdone and drawn out like the Sookie Stackhouse series...
