Fantastically haunting and intriguing, this short story has the depth and impact of a much longer tale. There's a neat phrase the author uses once, "psychic tar" to describe an unsettling upsetting story that will stick with you for weeks or months to come; that phrase also perfectly describes this book in the best possible way. I would love to read more from this author and I sincerely hope he keeps writing.
