I read this on the plane yesterday, and it was perfect for just that purpose. It made me think about how sometimes, in this genre (girly realistic but sorta romanticized drama), things get resolved a little too quickly, and the tension can build a little too contrivedly (shut up, I like to make up words). This one takes its time, builds believably and subtly. You still get the satisfied feeling when done, but it seems more worth it somehow.
