Bonded Nightmare by E.M. Rinaldi

4.0

Book Dedication: To the readers who know that sometimes… Romance is the plot.

Yes, that's right! Here, romance is the plot. This book is a paranormal romance featuring supernatural beings living in the human world. While there isn’t much fantasy world-building, it’s still a decent read.

I devoured and loved the first half of the book. However, as the story progressed, Eryn’s repeated resistance toward Kai, despite clearly liking him, felt a bit drawn out. While this part didn’t resonate with me as much, it did highlight her internal struggle, which some readers may appreciate.

Kai was a fantastic character—I loved how devoted he was to Eryn. His determination to protect and care for her was heartwarming, and the moment they finally bonded was incredibly satisfying. I also enjoyed the dynamic between Rani and Ezra. It was a great addition, and I’m excited to dive into their story next!

Overall, I enjoyed the writing style. It was easy to follow and descriptive enough to make visualizing the scenes effortless. This book is definitely worth a read, especially for fans of steamy romance. Aside from the repetitive moments, I’d still recommend it!

PS: I absolutely loved the book cover!
