A cute, short Christmas story that brings back the holidays of olden days. I have always loved Dorothea Benton Frank's books, and this one is a real departure for her. Pearl had died many years ago, but she comes back for a short time in order to earn her angel wings by helping her former employer, who is now in her nineties, make her family see that Christmas is more than just material things. It's about family and connections too. It's a heartwarming, feel good book, that can be funny at times. And since it's so short, you can read it in a couple of hours.
