Overall I did enjoy this book. I enjoyed the world building and story telling. Also that it was the Wonderland but not revolved Alice for a change. It was nice to read the origin of things. Forbidden love, danger and magic. I really felt for Jest and Cath that no matter what they did they just could not be together. It was a real insight into why the Queen of Hearts is the way she is and it is heartbreaking. Towards the end however I felt it dragged and you knew what was going to happen.
