The Last Time I Lied
by Riley Sager
Really enjoyed Riley's second book.
The pacing was great, I enjoyed the time jumps between the two summers. The mystery kept me flipping the page, which is something I always hope for when it comes to thrillers. Not gonna lie I had a couple nights where I was a little spooked after putting down the book (note to self, don't read horror books before bed). I also don't like when thrillers are super predictable, and I found myself guessing the whole way through, and still hadn't figured it out till the end.
I also really enjoyed the characters, they were pretty standard for this kind of genre but I still found myself intrigued by them. I especially loved Vivian's character.
I'm definitely looking forward to reading more by Riley, luckily there is a new book coming in the summer!
